Event exhibition: XIV Northeast Symposium on Water Resources, Maceió (AL)
November 25, 2018RHA exhibited at the XIV Northeast Symposium on Water Resources, which took place in Maceió, Brazil, from 20 to 23 November 2018, at the Cultural and Exposition Center Ruth Cardoso.
The main theme of the Symposium was The future of water supply and demand in Northeast Brazil. This theme is highly important in the Brazilian current context, where severe water crises were recently registered in most of the country’s regions. The event discussed the improvements and the new perspectives in water supply and demand in the Northeast Region.
Besides the exhibition, RHA also presented two technical papers: Analysis of the Influence of Cartographic Data on Inundation Boundaries under a hypothetical Dam Failure and Obtaining the Frequency Factor for Pluviometric Stations of the São Francisco River Basin using Adapted Statistical Method.
